Intel Pentium E1000 (Conroe-L) are single core processors which base on Intel newest Core architecture. As E1000 family is releasing in Q2 2007, Intel has a plan to slash the price to the existing Pentium 4 product line, which is to be replaced by the new E1000 family. The new price will take effect in January 2007.

Besides, sources from the industry tipped that Intel plans to sale Netburst Pentium 4 with 915 chipset, which doesn’t support dual core processors, at a very low price to OEM market. Moreover, Celeron D 300 would get its last model as Celeron D 365 in 2007. It is Cedar Mill based with 65nm process. With clock speed 3.6GHz, 512KB L2 cache and 533MHz FSB, it’s priced at $69. The other Celeron D would also experiencing price cut from 16.9% to 29.8%.

In addition, there are two models releasing in Jan 2007, Core 2 Duo E4300 and Pentium D 935. Core 2 Duo E4300 is designed to replace Pentium 945. With clock speed 1.8 GHz, 2MB L2 cache, and 800MHz FSB, it costs $163. Pentium D 935 is similar to Pentium D 940 in specification except Pentium D 935 doesn’t support VT. With clock speed 3.2 GHz, 2MBX2 L2 cache, and 800MHz FSB, it costs $133. While the existing Pentium D 925/915 would also experience a price cut to $133 and $93 respectively.
